Delivery FAQS

How is the food delivered?

Our meals are delivered chilled, via refrigerated transport.

Your meals will be packed into an insulated cardboard box with a cooling gel pack. This is then delivered via refrigerated transport to your door.

You'll receive a text upon delivery. Our drivers will endeavour to leave your order in a safe location out of direct sunlight where possible - please ensure to bring your order inside and put your meals in the fridge once delivered.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping fee is a flat rate of $15 for refrigerated delivery, ensuring your meals arrive fresh and safely chilled.

Does your food come frozen?

Nope - our food arrives to you freshly prepared by the kitchen. Your delivery will be sent to your door in a refrigerated truck, so it doesn’t need to be frozen – it’ll be ready for you to heat up as soon as you’re ready.

If you don’t plan on eating your meals by the use-by date, you can absolutely freeze them. When you're ready to eat, we advise reheating the meal from frozen instead of defrosting or thawing your meal out first. It'll take about 5-6 minutes in the microwave.

Missing delivery?

If there are missing items from your delivery, you must contact us on (03) 8669 0587 9am to 5pm (AEST/AEDT) within 24 hours of the delivery time and we will take steps to verify and confirm any such missing items. Please see our T&C's for further information.

Recipe: DIY Infused Olive Oil

Recipe: DIY Infused Olive Oil

If you’re looking for some extra zing or fire with each mouthful you may want to consider infused olive oil. Sounds fancy, but it’s really simple! Olive oil has many health benefits, and even though it tastes great as is, it can be turned up a notch with a few staple flavours. It may just be that finishing touch you are looking for and what's better it can all be done at home! These are also great gift ideas and can look gorgeous on your benchtop.

Where do I begin?

First select a few key flavours you love or are your pantry staples, making these infused oils a great addition to your kitchen. To get your creative juices flowing, we’ve given you a few examples below:

Garlic - Great for our Low FODMAP friends as you get all of the flavour and none of the side effects. Garlic infused oil is great for marinating, basting, dipping fresh bread or as the finishing touches on a fresh homemade pizza.

Chilli - If you like a bit of heat, you’re gonna LOVE chilli infused olive oil. A great base to many dishes or a finishing touch on an Asian inspired meal or if you’re a chilli fanatic ... everything!

Lemon - For an added fresh feeling or zing to the dish. Lemon infused olive oil is so versatile and is great in fresh salads, over couscous or Greek-inspired food.

Rosemary - For rustic homemade taste rosemary-infused olive oil is a great addition to your Sunday roast! Just think of the crispy potatoes, yum!

Once you have chosen what flavour you would like to infuse your oil with, following these simple instructions.

Recipe: Easy Steps to Make Infused Olive Oil

Ingredients:

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 chosen flavour:

  • 3-4 x peels of fresh lemon rind
  • 2-3 small chillies cut in half with additional chilli flakes if you love heat.
  • 4-5 peeled garlic cloves
  • 3 rosemary stalks
  •

    Method:

Warm ingredients and oil together in a saucepan at very low heat for 20minutes. Cool for 30mins, remove larger ingredients (lemon peel) and pour into a jar. Place ingredients into the jar for looks and to carry further flavour. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
